PPGI (Pre-painted Galvanized Steel) and PPGL (Pre-painted Galvalume Steel) are mainstream pre-coated color steel products in the industry. They adopt high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel (GI) and hot-dip galvalume steel (GL) as substrates, and are processed by fully automatic continuous coating production lines. The strict and standardized manufacturing process includes precision leveling, acid-base degreasing, high-pressure water washing, chemical conversion passivation, weather-resistant primer spraying, high-precision topcoat roller coating, constant-temperature high-temperature curing, air cooling finishing and film protection, ensuring product stability and durability fundamentally.
The paint film adopts high-end environmentally friendly coatings such as polyester (PE), high-durability polyester (HDP) and fluorocarbon (PVDF), which can be customized according to customer application scenarios. The conventional front paint thickness is 15-25μm and the back is 5-10μm, which can be thickened above 35μm for special outdoor working conditions. The finished steel surface has uniform color, no color difference, no scratches and no missing coating. The coating adhesion meets national standards with excellent bending and impact resistance, avoiding cracking, peeling and falling off during long-term use. It also has outstanding UV resistance, acid and alkali resistance, salt spray resistance and anti-aging performance, resisting erosion from harsh outdoor environments such as wind, rain, sand and temperature difference changes.
The product features excellent processing performance, supporting free bending, profiling, cutting, punching and welding. It adapts to various cold forming processes without secondary painting and polishing, greatly saving construction period, labor cost and coating materials. We stock hundreds of standard RAL solid colors and support customized exclusive colors, special film thickness and surface gloss (high-gloss, matte, frosted) with customizable thickness and width. Compared with post-sprayed steel, pre-painted steel has far better paint uniformity, environmental protection and flatness without paint pollution and uneven thickness.
Widely used in industrial and civil construction fields, including roof and wall cladding of steel structure factories, warehouses and logistics centers, prefabricated house and light steel villa exterior walls, container and refrigerated container panels, home appliance shells, door and window profiles, municipal outdoor hoardings, cleanroom wall panels, storage racks and equipment decorative shells. It is the most cost-effective and widely used color steel in decoration and building enclosure fields.
